On September 9th, we travelled to NYU Law School to collaborate with a team of volunteers on an AsylumConnect-inspired hackathon project.

At this hackathon, AsylumConnect was represented by Katie Sgarro, Co-Founder & President, Tiff Lu, Director of Technology, and Emma Biegacki, board member (and former Director of Catalog).

Our representatives teamed up with talented web developers to conceptualize a vision and draft wireframes for an inventive complementary product, designed to allow us to introduce an integrated social component to the AsylumConnect resource catalog in the near future.

A big thanks to Lesbians Who Tech, Uber, and all of the fantastic volunteers who joined us during the hackathon! We can't wait to implement all of your exciting ideas.

Stay tuned for more information on the development of our resource catalog.
